Project BEGIN Preschool Screenings Scheduled at School District 157-C

Frankfort School District 157-C will hold screenings for eligibility in its state-funded preschool program, Project BEGIN.

The program is for children between the ages of 3 and 5 who exhibit a delay in one or more of the following areas: cognitive, communication, motor skills and/or social skills, or who because of environmental or family circumstances, have not had an opportunity to be exposed to and/or involved in school readiness or developmental activities.

The following considerations are also taken into account when determining eligibility for enrollment in this program: physical needs of the child, parenting/home environment and personal family history.
