Student members of the National Honor Society (NHS) from Lincoln-Way Central are hosting the fifth-annual Father-Daughter Dance for daughters who are in kindergarten to third grade from the Lincoln-Way area.

"This event is sure to make every daughter's first dance a memorable one," stated Catherine Sieber, Central Chemistry teacher and NHS sponsor.

The event will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lincoln-Way Central Field House, 1801 East Lincoln Highway, New Lenox.

"The Daddy Daughter Dance is a great way to promote the relationship between a father and his little girl," noted Cory Carrasco, NHS president.

The event is a fundraiser for the Lincoln-Way Central NHS. The cost for the event is $25 for father and one daughter; additional daughters are $5 each. T-shirts will also be available to commemorate the occasion at $10 a piece, as an optional donation. The money raised from the event is for the National Honor Society's scholarship fund.
