JJC Guitar and Percussion Ensemble Spring Concert

The Joliet Junior College Guitar and Percussion Ensembles will present their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
 
The concert will open with the Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Steve Jacobson. The Guitar Ensemble is comprised of Tony Maas, of Bollingbrook; William Brown and Christopher McAdams, of Channahon; Andy Brown, of Frankfort; Mathew Cortez, of Homer Glen; Christopher Mendez and Gerald Sears, of Joliet; Sean Hall, of Lockport; Jacquelyn Huntley, of New Lenox; Nicholas Kinman and Jake Devries, of Plainfield; and Nicholas Velcich, of Romeoville. Selections will include compositions by Albinez, Ravel, Levesque, and others.
 
The Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Adam Cowger, is comprised of Michael Amos, Delisha Murdock-Rogers, Elisa Robinson, and Robert Zupancic, of Joliet, William Brown, of Channahon, Nathan Doyle and Jason Schmidt, of New Lenox, Tyler Gedvilas, of Plainfield, Nic Hart, of Pontiac, Dean Hobbs, of Manhattan, and Robert Young, of Homer Glen. Selections will include music of Nathan Daughtrey, Brett Dietz, Michael Varner, John Coltrane, Ray Obiedo and others.
 
Admission is $5 for the general public; $4 for senior citizens, non-JJC students, JJC faculty and staff; and $2 for JJC students and children.
