Bring It On: Patch Editors Put Dignity on the Line Over L-W East-Sandburg Game

The editors from your local Patch sites are wagering on the big matchup between these undefeated high school football teams. Don't worry, illegal bookmaking isn't involved.

This week, two Southland high school football powerhouses face off when takes on on Friday.

It's not just a big game because both teams are undefeated. Or because it's L-W East's homecoming. No, it's a big game because the Patch editors have a friendly wager of epic proportions riding on it.

Don't worry, this bet has nothing to do with money. In fact, the stakes are much higher. For this wager, the Patch editors representing L-W East--Joe Vince in Frankfort and Paul Dailing in Mokena--and the Patch editors representing Sandburg--Ben Feldheim in Orland Park and Carrie Frillman in Tinley Park--are putting their dignity on the line.

Here's the bet: If the Eagles win, Joe and Paul will spend a day decked out in Sandburg gear. If the Griffins win, Ben and Carrie walk around head to toe in East wear.

And yes, there will be evidence. Most likey photographic and quite possibly of the videographic variety.
