CD & ME to Host W.T.F. Country with Headliner John Michael Montgomery

Since June 13, CD & ME has been celebrating their 10th anniversary of the summer concert series in style, with their well-known reputation for bringing in bands that look good, sound good and know how to show the crowd a good time.

"We've packed our patio with fans over the past decade for shows like The Buckinghams, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Bellamy Brothers, the Temptations and more," says CD & ME co-owner Dean Vaundry. "This summer is no different."

July 24, 25 and 26 bring W.T.F. Country to CD & ME...that's Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Country. Country star John Michael Montgomery opens Wednesday night, and pre-party packages are still available. Montgomery's career includes 18 million albums sold and 36 hit singles, including "I Swear," "I Can Love You Like That" and "Be My Baby Tonight." CD & ME is also proud to present some top local talent as opening acts on Wednesday: Bernie Glim and the Country Roads Band, along with the tween/teen duo, The G Brothers, who made their first appearance at CD & ME last September and again in March 2013.

In addition to appearing on national television and having their music played on over 20 radio stations in the U.S. and abroad, The G Brothers have two EPs out. No strangers to the dedication and hard work that performing requires, brothers Billy (age 15) and Brian (age 12) say that music is what they both love to do.

"If we're lucky, we get to make a career out of playing music," the pair added. CD & ME knows audiences will be amazed at their rich sibling harmonies and incredible guitar skills.

W.T.F. Country continues on Thursday, July 25 with Rockstar Rodeo with Nick Lynch and Silversmith.

Friday, July 26, brings Suburban Cowboys to CD & ME. Mason Rivers opens.

Doors open at 6 p.m. each night. John Michael Montgomery's show starts at 8:30 with tickets priced from $25. Thursday and Friday tickets are $7 each and the show begins at 8 p.m. both nights. Tickets for all shows are available at CD & ME or online at cdandme.com.

As a special bonus, CD & ME will play host to a live broadcast of The Boers and Bernstein Show on Friday at 1 p.m. Fans are invited to attend this live show for free. Boers and Bernstein debuted in 1999 and have been the longest running sports talk radio show in Chicago.

CD & ME is located at 23320 S. LaGrange Road, Frankfort, IL. 815.469.7315. Find us on Facebook for event pics and updates.
