New Life Church Cadets to Host Breakfast Buffet Fundraiser on May 5

New Life Church Cadets will be hosting a Breakfast Buffet Fundraiser on Sunday, May 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at New Life Church, 500 Gougar Rd., New Lenox. The buffet includes: sausage links, bacon, ham, corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns, yogurt, fruit, baked treats, toast with jellies, bagels, English muffins, donuts, coffee cakes, cold cereals, coffee, milk, juice…plus a full breakfast burrito bar! Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will be used to purchase Bibles for each New Life Cadet.

New Life Church Cadets offer a faith-based scouting opportunity for boys and their families. While the program year is drawing to a close, a new year of Cadets will kick off again in late August. Boys and their families do not need to be members of New Life Church to join the program. Regular service projects, badge work, an annual mother-son Christmas party, the winter Pinewood Derby and a spring canoe trip are other highlights of Cadets, which runs September through April.
