Village of Frankfort Announces 2013 Committee Members

The Frankfort Village Board of Trustees at the regulary meeting announced the new village committee appointments. 

The 2013-2014 village committee appointments are effective May 1. Each application was reviewed by the Village Board before the mayor selected the appointees with the advice and consent of the trustees. All total, positions and leadership were filled on 16 committees.

The committees are: Plan Commission, Community Services, Departmental Operations, Economic Development, Financial Affairs and Land Use and Policy. 

In addition, trustees approved committee appointments for the Downtown Retail Grant Review, Tree Board, Sign Appeals, Traffic Advisory, Frankfort Country Market, 1890's Theme, Fire and Police Commissioners, Drainage, 911 and Police Pension Board.

It is very satisfying to know there is a strong level of interest in our Village committees. Citizen input is welcomed by our board and staff. The willingness of our residents to devote their time and energy to the community certainly is appreciated by me and the entire Village Board,”said Holland.
