Marley Road Now Closed At Route 30
The intersection is being rebuilt as part of the Route 30 road construction project.
South Marley Road is now closed at Route 30 as the state continues work on the massive road construction project through the villages of New Lenox, Mokena and Frankfort.
New Lenox Village Engineer Will Nash said the intersection rebuild project is expected to take about a month to complete. In the meantime, a detour will be set up on Spencer Road, about a half-mile east of Marley Road.
Once that's complete, said Nash, it should make driving pattern much smoother.
