Frankfort Couple Cleared to Get "Sports Court" at Sunburst Point Home
The Frankfort Village Board OK'd a variance so a couple could install a "sports court."
A couple from Frankfort's Sunburst Point can build a "sports court" on their property.
The village board approved a structure variance for Mr. and Mrs. George Borrelli so they can erect the sports court to the rear of their Five Oaks subdivision home.
Trustee Mike Stevens told the board the sports court will be screened by vegetation.
"At its Oct. 24 public hearing on the project, the plan commission noted precedent had been set for the installation of sports courts in the village and that it would be screened with vegetation and no provision for lighting," according to the plan commission's report summary.
