Hugs for Hounds Easter Egg Hunt

Dogs of all ages and breeds are invited to Hammel Woods Dog Park on April 23 at 11 a.m. for a special Easter egg hunt in support of one of their own.

Sponsored by Shorewood HUGS and the Forest Preserve District of Will County, this third annual event for dogs is being held to benefit Rosie, the Forest Preserve Police Department's search and rescue dog.

Make sure to bring a basket to collect Easter eggs filled with special prizes or dog treats. The entry fee is $5 per dog, and all proceeds collected will go to the care, handling and feeding of Rosie.
