Why are you seeking office?

There is a need to bring transparency to the forefront in Township government. With todays technology, township residents should be able to access public information such as detailed meeting minutes with the click of a finger.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

Thirty years experience in the field of records management has taught me the proper way to index and categorize an organizations files. I would work to share this experience across all of the offices in the township to enable residents to get their questions anwered more expediently.

In your opinion, what are the primary challenges facing the township?

In speaking with the residents I am surprised at the number who have no idea what the township does and what services are offered. They are tired of seeing their taxes go up and seeing nothing in return.

How will you address those challenges?

I will work with the other elected officials to get the township message out while seeking to open up the availability of information to the residents. Township elected officials need to be available to their constituents daily and not just at election time.

If elected, what will be your philosophy as a member of the township board?

Open access to township residents as they deserve to see where their tax dollars are going. There should be nothing to hide from our constituents.
