Construction Update: Route 30

The village recently released updated information about progress surrounding the construction on Lincoln Highway.

Now that construction season has come to a close, there will be no more major roadwork on Route 30 until March, according to an update recently issued by the Village of Frankfort.

Despite the absence of work crews, the highway will continue to be designated as a construction zone throughout the winter and the speed limit will remain set at 35 miles per hour.

In the coming months, two lanes will be open in each direction on the stretch of Route 30 that goes through Frankfort. Curb and median work still needs to be completed, however, and crews will be working to install traffic signals at Locust Street, 80th Avenue and Frankfort Square Road.
