No one enjoys maneuvering through construction zones, but it's a necessary evil (especially the long overdue Rt. 30 widening). To help ease some of that frustration, Patch will post updates from the village this summer about what roadways and routes to avoid. You also can check the Village of Frankfort's website for more information. And don't forget to look at Patch's live traffic map when it comes to finding headache-free routes during your commute.

Temporary lanes: Pavement markings and concrete are being put down for these lanes on the north side of Rt. 30, near Elsner Road to Butternut Trail. The change-over to the new lanes should happen some time this week.
