Board Still Mulling Bids for New Village Hall

The board is still weighing options for construction of the new space.

Frankfort officials aren't ready to pick a firm to lead construction of a new village hall, Administrator Jerry Ducay told the trustees Monday.

Instead, they'll research the four frontrunners—narrowed from 17 who bid for the project. Ducay said he hopes to have a recommendation by the end of March.

Bids ranged from $5.6 million, to the lower end of $4.2–4.5 million. The board could vote to hire a general contractor at an April 7 meeting.
