Arbor Day and Earth Day Celebrated Together in Frankfort
In Frankfort, Arbor Day and Earth Day mean coming together to spruce up the village.
The annual Clean-Day Program in Frankfort is made more fun when it's combined with a celebration of Arbor Day and Earth Day.
The Village of Frankfort will officially welcome spring with an outdoor celebration planned from 8:30-11:30 a.m. April 20. Volunteers are asked to stage at the Public Works facility, 524 Center Road.
A free continental breakfast will be served and lunch is provided at the end.

Mary Canino, communications director, said residents are welcome to sign-up on the spot or call the village in advance at 815-469-2177. To register online, go the Village website.
