I want to continue to find ways to provide services without raising taxes. The township must live within its means just as families do at home.

Why are you seeking office?

I would like to give back to the community.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I am a seasoned leader. I have the experience to continue doing the job. If reelected, I will always put the needs of residents first.

In your opinion, what are the primary challenges facing the township?

These days, there are fewer resources. The township must continue to provide services for residents without increasing the taxpayers' burden.

How will you address those challenges?

If reelected, I will continue to carefully consider each expenditure while seeking ways to streamline operations.

If elected, what will be your philosophy as a member of the township board?

My philosophy is that I should run the township the same way I run my home. I want to provide for the residents' needs without spending too much money.

Please add any other information pertinent to your campaign.

While serving as a Frankfort Township Trustee, I have worked in the food pantry during collection drives held with local grocery stores. I have volunteered in the pantry by unloading trucks of non-perishables and stocking the shelves.
I am also chairman of the Frankfort Township Cemetery Board. In the summer of 2012, I organized a project to clean the historic cemetery's headstones and spruce up the landscaping.
I also initiated a prescription drug discount card program for township residents.
