Frankfort Township does a lot for the residents.
It offers a safety net for people who have fallen on hard times. It maintains more than 60 miles of heavily traveled roads. It offers an inexpensive, reliable and comfortable public transportation option for seniors and the disabled.
While providing these important services, the township must continue to hold the line on taxes. I have been a fiscally responsible township supervisor, and if reelected, I will continue that work.

Why are you seeking office?

Frankfort Township has been my home for more than 40 years. While raising my family here, I coached Little League teams, worked on school district initiatives and helped found the Frankfort Square Park District.
I've tried to make Frankfort Township a better place to live, and I want to continue that work.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I am an effective leader with extensive experience as a businessman and as a public servant. I have always balanced the township's budget while keeping taxes low. I put Frankfort Township first.
I have supported the community by sponsoring activities for young people and events for their schools. I have always believed in backing worthwhile endeavors that benefit the people who live here.
I take my civic duty very seriously.

In you opinion, what are the primary challenges facing the township?

These days, Frankfort Township faces the same challenges as other communities.
Leaders everywhere must find ways to deliver services despite fewer financial resources.

How will you address those challenges?

I believe in innovation, cooperation and the formation of partnerships.
I work with other units of government, charitable organizations and the faith-based community to help residents.
If we stand together, Frankfort Township will be a better place.

If elected, what will be your philosophy as a member of the township board?

My philosophy is simple: I will always put the people first.

Please add any other information pertinent to your campaign.

As a member of the Will County Forest Preserve District, I have promoted the preservation of open space and green areas, including the acquisition and development of Frankfort Township's beautiful Hickory Creek Preserve.
