Why are you seeking office?

I ask to represent the people of Frankfort as we create a higher quality of life for all residents. We look forward to the completion of the Route 30 project, the resumption of increased housing values, the recruitment of new quality businesses to Frankfort and the retention of our low crime rate.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

The only reason I am running for Mayor is to make Frankfort the best place to live, work and play.

In you opinion, what are the primary challenges facing the village?

We will be the village that attracts high quality residential, commercial and light industrial development which will help raise current property values in the midst of a difficult national economy.

How will you address those challenges?

We are creating the premier community in which businesses like Mariano's want to locate. We will upgrade building and zoning codes to encourage quality development.

If elected, what will be your philosophy as a member of the village board?

The trustees and I have independent thoughts and views. We respect each other's somethimes differing opinions while we work together to make Frankfort better for our citizens. Before we vote on issues, we invite citizen input, we discuss the issue and then we make decisions based on what each one of us believes is best for our community.

Please add any other information pertinent to your campaign.

I thank the people of Frankfort for allowing me to serve as Mayor. I look forward to working with you to make Frankfort the best place to live in the Chicago suburbs.
