Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on LaGrange Road

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of LaGrange Road and Old Frankfort Way Monday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.

Traffic on LaGrange Road was shut down for a short time a little after 2 p.m. because of the crash between a car and a sports-utility vehicle, said Cmdr. Kevin Keegan, adding he was still waiting for the police report for more details on how the accident happened. 

A woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, Keegan said, adding that he didn't think her injuries were severe because she initially refused medical treatment at the scene. Keegan said he didn't have any information about the injured woman or what hospital she was sent to.
