Tinley Man Stopped at Charrington and Bristol Faces Drug Charges
Frankfort police pull over Edwin Walker for an expired registration but find marijuana and a suspected narcotic pain reliever, according to a report.
A Tinley Park man was caught with marijuana and a suspected narcotic pain reliever after a traffic stop Sunday, Aug. 21, according to Frankfort police report.
Edwin M. Walker, 24, of the 8600 block of Bangor Drive in Tinley Park, was charged with two felonies—possession of a controlled substance and the manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance—as well as a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana, the report stated.
An officer pulled over Walker at the intersection of Charrington Drive and Bristol Court and gave him a warning ticket for driving with an expired registration. The officer then discovered marijuana and a suspicious substance that field tested positive as a narcotic pain reliever.

Frankfort police will not identify the substance or the amount until it has been verified by its lab.
Walker also had an outstanding misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrant from Will County. He was booked into the Will County Jail and released on bond.
