The Week Nobody Went to Jail Except For Louis Schmude Frankfort Police Blotter

Louis Schmude was the only guy who went to jail, the Frankfort police said.

June 11

  • Two Frankfort teens got in trouble about 11:40 p.m. in the 600 block of Willow Street. A 16-year-old was charged with violating curfew, possession of tobacco by a minor and the underage consumption of alcohol. A 17-year-old was charged with possession of cannabis, violating curfew, the underage consumption of alcohol and possession of alcohol by a minor.

June 13

  • Louis Schmude, 31, of 5636 Fairfax Ave. in Oak Forest was arrested on a Cook County warrant about 12:45 a.m. in the 20500 block of LaGrange Road. He was booked into the Will County jail.
  • Brent White, 18, of 21535 Morning Dove Lane in Frankfort was charged with improper lane usage, driving without insurance, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of cannabis about 9:20 p.m. near the corner of 108th Avenue and Lincoln Highway.
  • Adam Fiedler, 30, of 313 N. Maple St. in Frankfort was charged with criminal damage to property about 8:30 a.m. in the 300 block of North Maple.

June 14

  • Joseph Cesario, 24, of 12610 Whisper Creek Way in Mokena was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign, driving with an expired registration, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia about 3:15 a.m. near the corner of LaGrange Road and Sangmeister Road.
  • Brandon Pennington, 20, of 17730 Country Club Lane in Country Club Hills was charged with failing to signal and driving while license suspended about 11 p.m. near the corner of McDonald Lane and White Street.

June 15

  • Police took a report regarding the unlawful entry of a model home in the 11200 block of York Drive. Police said "miscellaneous items (were) removed."

June 16

  • Benjamin Angel, 33, of 331 Wisconsin Road in Frankfort was charged with speeding, driving while license suspended, and driving without insurance about 3 p.m. near the corner of LaGrange Road and Old Frankfort Way.
