Suspicious Activity From Man in Van With Puppies: Police Report

Frankfort police release alert concerning a man in his 50s asking children near a bus stop to look at puppies in his van.

A Frankfort resident reported a suspicious man in a white van in the Pine Ridge Drive area Thursday, according to a Frankfort Police Department alert.

The man, estimated to be about 50 years old, was reportedly asking children if they wanted to see puppies inside his "newer white Chevrolet van with no license plates and no side windows," the alert stated. The van was parked near a school bus stop.

According to the report, the man did have puppies inside the van, but when he was approached by an adult, he drove away. The adult followed the van outside of town, the alert stated.
