Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Charge for Downers Grove Man

Juan F. Espinoza, 38, of the 4500 block of Cross Street in Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08 and driving with one taillight after being pulled over by Frankfort police between Steger and LaGrange roads, according to reports.

Unknown Robbers Steal From Boarded-up House

Siding, copper flashing and piping, five five-gallon buckets of driveway sealer and five cans of paint were stolen from a house in the 18000 block of South Parker Road that was boarded up after a February fire, according to a Will County Sheriff's Office report.

Frankfort Woman Faces DUI, Traffic Charges

Police said Ashley M. Buick, 23, of the 7600 block of West Glenshire Drive in Frankfort, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence over the legal limit and failure to signal after a traffic stop at the corner of South LaGrange Road and Lincolnway Lane.

MONDAY, APRIL 11

Portable Toilet Set on Fire; Beavis and Butt-head Not Suspects

A witness called the Will County Sheriff's Office, saying he saw two juveniles playing around the portable bathroom at the baseball fields at West Kingston and West Laurel drives. The witness said he then saw flames coming from the inside and called the Frankfort Fire Protection District. The fire only damaged the toilet paper dispenser of the portable bathroom.
