Will County Sheriff's Office reports, Sept. 10-12 • Vehicle burglaries along South Long Beach Drive • Break-in at All Star Sports Bar.

Surveying Equipment Stolen, Recovered at Walgreen's

An employee of Lake County Grading Company told Will County Sheriff's officers that surveying equipment, including a data collector and a GPS, were stolen from his company truck on the construction site at South 78th Street and West Lincoln Highway. The items, which were attached to a tripod used for surveying land, were found at the Walgreen's on West Lincoln Highway about 30 minutes after the initial report, and they were recovered undamaged.

Vehicle Burglaries on South Long Beach Drive

A GPS unit, a power drill, and a set of drill bits were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 22000 block of South Long Beach Drive. Two bags containing miscellaneous items were stolen from another car on the same block, while a third vehicle was entered but had nothing removed from it.

Breaking and Entering at All Star

Unknown suspects forced entry into the rear door of All Star Sports Bar, 7818 W. Lincoln Highway, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
