MONDAY, AUG. 15

Mokena Man Charged with Possession

Eric J. Venditti, 18, of the 11600 block of West Kluth Court in Mokena, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an incident between 116th Avenue and Anise Drive.

UPDATED (Feb. 17): In September, the marijuana possession charge was dropped, and a judge withheld judgment on the drug paraphernalia charge after three months of court supervision, according to court records.

SUNDAY, AUG. 14

Frankfort Man Faces DUI, Traffic Charges

Donald R. Heisner, 38, of the 100 block of Hickory Street in Frankfort, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage and driving without insurance after a traffic stop at the intersection of Pfeiffer Road and Sauk Trail.

Joliet Woman Charged in Theft

Angela C. Brown, 29, of the 700 block of Arbor Street in Joliet, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft after an incident in the 19900 block of LaGrange Road.

Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Charge for Orland Woman

Vanessa L. Liptack, 25, of the 14000 block of Stonegate Lane in Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence, following too closely and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a traffic stop at the intersection of LaGrange Road and Lincoln Highway.

SATURDAY, AUG. 13

Berwyn Man Charged with DUI

Ricardo Mendoza, 21, of the 3200 block of Grove Avenue in Berwyn, was charged with driving under the influence, aggravated DUI, speeding and improper lane usage after a traffic stop between Lincoln Highway and Pfeiffer Road.

FRIDAY, AUG. 12

Frankfort Man Faces Public Intoxication Charge

Thomas P. Woods, 43, of the 9200 block of West Franklin Avenue in Frankfort, was charged with public intoxication after an incident in the 19900 block of LaGrange Road.

The Old Sugar-in-the-gas-tank Trick Strikes Again

A man in the 7400 block of West Lakeside Drive reported to the Will County Sheriff's Office that somone had put sugar into his car's gas tank. The resident said while trying to put gas into his car, he saw a white, clumpy substance exiting the gas tank.
