Frankfort Man Faces Felony Possession Charges

Lamar G. Bell, 49, of the 7300 block of West Hickory Creek Drive in Frankfort, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after an incident in the 7200 block of Lincoln Highway, according to police.

Stop Nets Drug, Traffic Charges for Matteson Man 

Police said Eric P. Botica, 28, of the 300 block of Wildrock Terrace in Matteson, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and cited with driving with no insurance and speeding after being pulled over between 95th Avenue and Lincoln Highway.

Monday, March 7

Joliet Women Caught Stealing Almost $1,200 of Clothes

Gretta J. Scalpelli, 46, Ashley N. Meyer, 20, Tiffany L. Redfer-Robbins, 27, and Tina Loritz, 41, all of the first block of Clairmont Avenue in Joliet, were charged with felony retail theft after police said they were apprehended at Kohl's on Lincoln Highway in Frankfort. Store workers contacted the Frankfort police when they noticed the women acting suspiciously, according to reports. Police said they caught the women with almost $1,200 worth of clothing they were attempting to steal.

Orland Park Man Tussles With Deputy

Police said Anthony A. Serrata, 21, of the 14000 block of Catherine Drive in Orland Park, was charged with battery after an incident at Club 30 West in the 7900 block of West Lincoln Highway. Serrata fought with a Will County Sheriff's Office deputy after another deputy asked Serrata's sister, Elizabeth T. Serrata, 19, also of the 14000 block of Catherine Drive in Orland Park, for her ID, according to reports. She was later charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, officers said.

Lincolnwood Man Faces Drug, Weapons Charge 

Police said Alexander Nikolich, 41, of the 7000 block of North Kenton Avenue in Lincolnwood, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon after an incident between U.S. Route 30 and U.S. Route 45.

Mokena Man Caught Stealing From Tire Shop

Charles E. Casler, 47, of 11000 block of Wexford Lane in Mokena, was charged with felony theft after police said he was apprehended in connection with stealing more than $300 worth of cable wiring and insulators caps from Malley's Discount Tire in the 9400 block of West Lincoln Highway.

Garden Homes Man Faces Alcohol, Traffic Charges

Police said Michael K. Fitzgerald, 51, of the 3700 block of West 115th Place in Garden Homes, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol. He also was charged with driving with a revoked license and no insurance after being pulled over by Will County Sheriff's Office police between South Harlem Avenue and West Lincoln Highway, according to reports.

Cars Burglarized, Damaged at Phillips Chevrolet

Frankfort police received a report of exterior damage to and stolen items from vehicles in the business parking lot of Phillips Chevrolet in the 9700 block of Lincoln Highway.

Vandals Hit Vehicles at Currie Motors

Frankfort police received a report of damage to the exterior and interior of vehicles parked at Currie Motors in the 9400 block of Lincoln Highway.
