Chicago Man Arrested on Pot, DUI, Traffic Charges

Lashun Miller, 39, of the 7930 block of Carpenter Street in Chicago, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, aggravated driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, possession of marijuana, failure to signal, improper lane use and disobeying a traffic control device after being pulled over in the 9500 block of Lincoln Highway. He is in Will County Jail on $2,500 bail. His next court date is Nov. 2.

New Lenox Woman Faces DUI, Speeding Charges

Nicole A. Wardinski, 24, of the 300 block of Sunset Trail in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding after a traffic stop in the 8400 block of Lincoln Highway. Her next court date is Nov. 4.

TUESDAY, OCT. 11

Mokena Man Stopped for DUI, Registration Violation

Bruce A. Nelson, 54, of the 12800 block of West Timber Lane in Mokena, was charged with driving under the influence and driving without front registration after being pulled over near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and LaGrange Road. His next court date is Nov. 3.

Monee Man Picked Up on Outstanding Warrant

Michael P. Wachter, 19, of the 25020 block of South LaGrange Road in Monee, was arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant in Will County after an incident in the 19900 block of LaGrange Road. His next court date is Nov. 9.

Two Teens Caught Drinking, Breaking Curfew

Two 15-year-old females—one from Mokena, the other from Frankfort—were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and curfew violation in an incident at the intersection of Laraway and Pfeiffer roads.

Traffic Stop Leads to Pot Charge for Mokena Man

Ryan T. Adkins, 24, of the 10900 block of Kerry Court in Mokena, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and driving with no front registration plate displayed after a traffic stop near the intersection of Challenger and Gulfstream roads. His next court date is Nov. 1.

Frankfort Woman Charged With DUI, Traffic Violation

Beverly A. Kies, 38, of the 300 block of Iowa Court in Frankfort, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after being pulled over near the intersection of LaGrange Road and Lincoln Highway. Her next court date is Nov. 2.

Frankfort Man Faces DUI, Speeding Charges

Jeffrey E. Eppenstein, 40, of the 21900 block of Pembrook Drive in Frankfort, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding after a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of LaGrange Road. His next court date is Nov. 1.

Matteson Residents Face Booze Charges

Rose M. Kimmons, 57, of the 6350 block of Apple Hill Lane in Matteson, and Francis R. Manuel, 47, of the 6300 block of Sunflower Drive in Matteson, were charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and public intoxication after a traffic stop near the intersection of Center and Laraway roads.
