TUESDAY, APRIL 17
Traffic Stop Leads to Warrant Arrest for New Lenox Man
John A. Ludington, 43, of the 600 block of Oxford Court in New Lenox, was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and improper use of registration after a traffic stop near the intersection of Deer Run and Tall Grass drives. He was then arrested on outstanding warrants in Will and Cook counties, . He was released on bond for the traffic offenses, then booked in to Will County Jail for the warrants. He is still in custody, and his bail is set at $3,300.

Frankfort Man Faces Drug, Traffic Charges
Jason W. Edmonds, 35, of the 21400 block of South 93rd Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment, failure to signal and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop near the intersection of 95th Avenue and Lincoln Highway. He was released on bond, and his next court date is May 1.

Ford Heights Man Pulled Over With Stun Gun
Steven L. Lewis, 24, of the 1400 block of East 15th Place in Ford Heights, was charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, as well as misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of firearm after a traffic stop near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Pfeiffer Road. During the stop, the officer found a fully functioning stun gun in the car's center console area, said Frankfort Police Cmdr. Kevin Keegan. Lewis was booked in to Will County Jail and released on bail.

Frankfort Man Picked Up for Outstanding Warrants
Alexander Q. Stewart, 19, of the 8100 block of Parkview Lane, was arrested on and an outstanding Grundy County warrant. Stewart was served the warrants at his house and then booked in to Will County Jail, where he is currently in custody on $675 bail.
