Two Frankfort Teens Caught Smoking, Drinking

A 15-year-old Frankfort male was charged with possession of alcohol by minor and possession of tobacco by minor in an incident at Prairie Park. Another 15-year-old Frankfort male was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the same time.

House Windows Damaged

A resident in the 10800 block of Nebraska Street reported damage done to the windows of his residence.

Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Charges for New Lenox Man

Carlos M. Ortega, 20, of the 600 block of Bob White Lane in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, driving without insurance and underage consumption of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 10800 block of Laraway Road, police said. Ortega's next court date is Jan. 5.

Frankfort Man Charged With DUI After Accident 

Bernard Scott Gerske, 56, of the 900 block of South Butternut Circle, was charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to yield from a private drive after an incident in the 19900 block of LaGrange Road, police said. Gerske's next court date is Jan. 4.

SATURDAY, NOV. 26

Tools, Walkie Talkies Stolen From Garage

A resident made a report to the Will County Sheriff's Office concerning a stolen pair of walkie talkies and about 50 assorted Craftsman tools that were taken between Jan. 1 and Nov. 26 from a detached garage in the 22000 block of South Foxfire Drive.

FRIDAY, NOV. 25

Items Stolen From Construction Site 

A report was made to police of stolen items valued at more $1,000 stolen from a construction site near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Lincoln Highway.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 23

Items Stolen From Unlocked Vehicle

A report was made of a variety of unidentified items stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a business parking lot in the 21100 block of LaGrange Road.

MONDAY, NOV. 21

Cell Phone Stole From Vehicle

A resident reported to the Will County Sheriff's Office that her cell phone was taken from her car while she was in Cobblestone Pizza on West Benton Drive. The victim reported seeing three teenage boys standing near her vehicle when she went into the restaurant.
