PHOTOS: House Fire Damage in Frankfort Square

A Laurel Drive home was severely damaged when an attic fire spread through the house Monday evening.

An attic fire that spread to the roof and ground floor of a Frankfort Square house on Monday evening caused severe damage, according to the Frankfort Fire Protection District.

The homeowners of the ranch house on the 7900 block of Laurel Drive have been displaced due to the severity of the structural damage to the roof supports of the home, in addition to the damage in the family room and kitchen.

The fire did not result in any injuries. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
