PHOTO GALLERY: Residents, Police Meet at Night Out Against Crime

The Frankfort Police Department's annual event included face-painting, K9 demonstrations and hot dogs grilled by the police chief.

The Frankfort Police Department held its annual Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday night at Breidert Green and the surrounding parking areas.

A strong crowd turned out for free hot dogs (grilled by Police Chief John Burica) and snow cones. There was also face-painting, lizards and a police dog. Residents were able to meet members of Frankfort's police force, and officers put on demonstrations, including one with a K9 dog.

Frankfort Patch was there to capture the event. See if you can find your buddies or favorite exhibit in our photo gallery.
