New Lenox Man Charged With Aggravated DUI in Frankfort

Douglas R. Boettcher, 47, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence earlier this year and was arrested again Saturday night.

A New Lenox man who pleaded guilty to drunken driving earlier this year was charged again after a traffic stop in Frankfort.

Douglas R. Boettcher, 47, of the 2300 block of East Lincoln Highway in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license and driving without a front license plate.

Frankfort Police Commander Kevin Keegan said an officer saw Boettcher weaving in his white Ford Mustang at 3:26 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. The officer followed Boettcher and pulled him over in the 11000 block of Route 30.

The officer then learned that Boettcher was driving with a suspended license because of a previous DUI arrest. According to Will County Court records, Boettcher was sentenced to one year supervision and fined for a Dec. 8, 2010 DUI arrest. He was also in Frankfort.

"That's what constitutes the aggravated DUI charge, because of the previous arrest," Keegan said.

Keegan said Boettcher's blood alcohol content was 0.14, almost twice the legal limit. There were no passengers in the car.

They will continue to let him drive until he kills someone, I wonder who he knows, most people would have served some time already, if he has a wife and children , they are the ones I feel sorry for.

This man is currently in the Will county Jail serving a 60 Day sentence. Sadly this man is a former Pastor at Family Harvest Chruch in Tinley Park. He is divorce, his home has been forclosed, and he maintains relationships with married woman! Amazes me that any woman could find this man appealing....but I guess flattery goes a long way with foolish people.
