New Lenox Cops Jail Local Man After Drug Raid

A New Lenox man was charged with intending to deal drugs after the police raided his house.

The New Lenox police pulled a New Year's Eve morning raid and arrested a local man for allegedly planning to deal drugs.

Gilbert Myers, 38, of 1212 E. Illinois Highway was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of cannabis.

The New Lenox police reportedly obtained a search warrant and hit Myers' home with it about 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Myers was taken to the Will County jail where he remains in custody. Myers is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond.
