New Lenox Cops Catch Wanted Woman

A woman wanted on a warrant out of Orland Park was captured by the New Lenox police.

A New Lenox woman wanted on an Orland Park warrant was captured after an officer ran her license plate Friday, police said.

Mandy Lifka, 27, of 310 Sunset Trail was apprehended shortly before noon near the intersection of Route 30 and Veterans Parkway.

An officer on patrol "conducted a random registration check which revealed that the registered owner, Lifka, had a warrant for her arrest," police said. "The officer conducted a stop and confirmed that Lifka was driving."

Lifka was released after posting bond.
