Accused Frankfort Square Kidnapper Hauled Back to Illinois

Dorian M. Yamini, 21, appeared in a Will County courtroom on Friday. He is one of three men accused of forcing a 69-year-old woman into a car and joyriding around with her ATM card.

Bail was set at $1 million for one of accused of kidnapping and robbing a 69-year-old Frankfort Square woman at gunpoint in March.

Dorian M. Yamini, 21, of the 4600 block of Richton Park was booked into the Will County jail and multiple felonies, including armed robbery, hijacking a vehicle and kidnapping. He had been held in Texas since March 20 before his transfer to Illinois.

Yamini is one of three men authorities say forced a woman on March 4 into their car, stolen her vehicle and drove to a bank to withdrawal money from her account.

According to Will County records, Chavell D. Anderson, 21, of the 17100 block of Longfellow, Hazel Crest, and Aaron D. Anderson, 20, of the 22400 block of Lakeshore, Richton Park, are charged with armed robbery. Aaron Anderson also faces one count of misdemeanor marijuana possession.

The Chicago Tribune reports that Yamini appeared in a Will County bond court Friday afternoon before being returned to Will County detention.

Three suspects were identified through a surveillance video that surfaced, according to authorities. The three men were allegedly caught on camera at a Walmart in Crestwood.

The 69-year-old woman had just pulled into her driveway and was leaving her car when she was abducted about 10 p.m. The assailants ordered her at gunpoint into the backseat of a car. He was unharmed when they finally released her.

Chavell Anderson was arrested a few days after the kidnapping, authorities said. Yamini and Aaron Anderson were both taken into custody in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
