Lots of Kids Getting in Trouble in Frankfort Lately: Frankfort Police Blotter

June 5

Thomas Drinane, 49, of 325 Tanglewood Road in Matteson was charged with drivng while license suspended about 10 a.m. in the 7600 block of Lincoln Highway.

June 6

Two teens got in trouble about 1:45 a.m. near the corner of Crystal Lake Way and St. Francis Road. A 15-year-old from Frankfort was charged with curfew and possession of tobacco. A 17-year-old from Mokena was charged with a muffler violation, possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment.

Three teens got in trouble shortly after 7 p.m. in the 21200 block of Old North Church Road. A 16-year-old from Frankfort, a 17-year-old from Frankfor and a 16-year-old from Tinley Park all were charged with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property. The 17-year-old was also charged with resisting arrest.

Police said "items (were) stolen from (a) locked vehicle" parked in a business lot in the 9500 block of St. Francis Road.

Police said "items (were) stolen from (an) unsecured motor vehicle" parked in the 20500 block of LaGrange Road.

A vehicle was damaged while it was parked in a driveway in the 7900 block of Pineview Lane.

June 7

Michael Naglak, 18, of 26004 S. Castle Gate Drive in Monee was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia about 2 p.m. near the corner Old Frankfort Way and White Street.

A vehicle parked in a driveway in the 22500 block of Oakfield Drive was damaged.

A vehicle parked in a driveway in the 7900 block of Big Buck Trail was damaged.

A 15-year-old from Mokena was charged with criminal damage to property and the underage consumption of alcohol about 10:30 p.m. in the 21300 block of Bramble Drive.

June 8

Items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Industry Avenue

June 10

Ashley Jones, 20, of 1345 Central Park Ave. in Flossmoor was charged with driving while license suspended and driving without insurance shortly before 8 a.m. near the corner of Lincoln Highway and Woodbridge Drive.

June 11

Broderick C. Osborn, 46, of 3309 Coach House Court in Conyers, GA, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant about 1:30 a.m. near the corner of Lincoln Highway and Wolf Road.
