Kids Getting in Trouble: Frankfort Police Blotter

A few teenagers got into some trouble with the law and there were a couple other things too.

Some youths ran into trouble with the law last week.

One got picked up in connection with a Harvey man's alleged bid to break into a house but only ended up getting charged with possession of cannabis and criminal damage to property.

Let's take a look at what the other ones supposedly did and the rest of the week's police activity:

Nov. 5

A 16-year-old girl from New Lenox was charged with retail theft in connection with an incident shortly after 5 p.m. in the 11000 block of Lincoln Highway.

Nov. 7

A wallet was stolen from a shopper in the 21000 block of LaGrange Road about 12:30 p.m.

Nov. 9

A 17-year-old New Lenox boy was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of smoking materials shortly after 11 p.m. in the 200 block of Kansas Street.

Nov. 10

Items were stolen from a construction site in the 20500 block Grand Traverse Drive about 4:15 p.m.
