Wallace Stefanski, 68, of the 7700 block of W. Galeview Lane in Frankfort, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to yield right of way to a pedestrian and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after he struck a 13-year-old boy from Tinley Park who was riding his bike at the intersection of S. 80th Avenue and W. St. Francis Road in Frankfort.
The Frankfort Fire Protection District transported the victim to Christ Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

iPhones, Purse and Cash Stolen by Burglars
Unknown persons broke into a residence on the 7700 block of W. Roeland Court in Frankfort and stole two iPhones, a purse and $200 in cash.
