Frankfort Man Jailed for Faking Car Theft: Cops

A Frankfort man allegedly lied to the state cops about his car getting stolen.

A Frankfort man was locked up in the Will County jail for allegedly lying about his car getting stolen.

Ronald Strenge, 43, of 7740 W. Laurel Drive was hit with a charge of disorderly conduct in connection with the March 29 falsehood he allegedly told to the Illinois State Police.

The Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force investigated Strenge and obtained a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into the county jail Friday afternoon.

Strenge was released after posting $15,000 bond.
