Frankfort Man Acts the Fool at Mokena White Castle, Then Goes to Jail: Cops

The Frankfort man talked about robbing and stealing but didn't actually take anything, police said.

A Frankfort man talked a big game about taking down the Mokena White Castle in a brazen robbery but never actually took anything, police said.

But even though 24-year-old Joshua Dix left White Castle empty-handed, that didn't stop the Mokena cops from putting him in jail. Dix was charged with attempted theft and disorderly conduct for his alleged shenanigans at the 191st Street fast food palace.

The attempted theft charge stemmed from Dix going into the White Castle Sunday and telling a worker, "I want all the money," according to court papers.

One of the two disorderly conduct charges filed against Dix was for that same alleged demand for all of the money. The other was for Dix proclaiming, "I ain't got no mask but next time n---a I'm gonna rob all you n---as," according to court papers, which also said Dix predicted, "In two days when you get robbed, it's gonna be me."

Dix was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
