Frankfort Fire Incidents Reports: Tree on Car, Driver Pinned (UPDATE)

Frankfort Fire Protection District officials are currently at the scene of an accident on 84th Avenue.

Update: 9:55 p.m. Wednesday

A vehicle went off the road about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at 20708 S. 84th Avenue and into a field with trees, said Frankfort Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Sean Fierce. 

Firefighters were called to the scene, cleared the trees and transported the victim to Franciscan St. James Hospital, Olympia Fields, without incident. 

Will County Sheriff's Department handled the call, added Fierce.

The Frankfort Fire Protection District is currently on the scene of an accident in the 20000 block of S. 84th Avenue.  

According to the Frankfort Fire Incidents Facebook page, about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday an alert went out, reporting that a tree was on a car at 20708 S. 84th Avenue and the driver was pinned.

The details of the incident are not yet available. Officials at the Frankfort Fire Protection District did confirm that they were at the scene.
