Even More Identity Thieves Trying to Collect Unemployment

The New Lenox police learned of two more cases of identity thieves attempting to go on unemployment.

Two more New Lenox resident told the cops identity thieves used their information to apply for unemployment benefits.

Both victims reported that "an unknown person attempted to use (their) personal information to obtain unemployment benefits," police said.

The matter was sent to the New Lenox Police Department's investigations division for review.
