DUI for New Lenox Man, Tools & Cash Register Stolen in Business Burglaries: Will County Blotter

SUNDAY, JULY 7

Marijuana Possession


Brian Niemann, 43, of the 1100 block of Country Road, Rewey, Wisconsin, was charged with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, driving without insurance and failing to signal, according to a report. Police arrested him near the intersection of South Frankfort Square Road and West Lincoln Highway in Frankfort.

DUI For New Lenox Man


John J. Lanigan, 62, of the 1700 block of Giddington Court, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash, according to a report. He was arrested near the intersection of Chatfield and North Schoolhouse roads in New Lenox.

FRIDAY, JULY 5

Tools Taken From Insulation Company


A Craftsman tool chest, wrenches, a paint sprayer, 12 spools of copper air, a chainsaw, weed wacker, two nail guns, a nail finisher, nails and a hammer drill were stolen from a processional insulation company in New Lenox, according to a report. Police said the burglar broke into the business and grabbed the equipment. No arrests were reported.

THURSDAY, JULY 4

Cash Register Heist


A cash register was stolen from a business in the 7800 block of West Lincoln Highway, according to a report. Police said someone broken into the liquid therapy business in Frankfort. No arrests were reported.
