An Orland Hills man faces felony drug charges after Frankfort police discovered a substantial amount of pot and pills during a roadside assist.
Eric D. Chojnowski, 21, of the 900 block of W. 167th Street, was charged with the manufacture and delivery of cannabis, a felony, on Nov. 10.
He was also charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, Chojnowski was issued citations for parking in a roadway and driving while intoxicated.
Frankfort police received a call for a motors assist at 4:44 a.m. at the corner of Harlem Avenue and Prestwick Drive in Frankfort.
According to the Frankfort Police Department, officers found Chojnowski parked in the middle of the road and slumped down behind the wheel.
Chojnowski tested positive for intoxication and was arrested for drunk driving.
Officers who searched his car during the investigation discovered several bags containing a variety of prescription pills, as well as 20 grams of cannabis.
Chojnowski was booked at the Frankfort Police Department and transported to Will County Jail.
