Sounds like the Speedway gas station, but what merchandise-- bandanas and twinkies?

There isn't a Speedway there. Was @ Village Hall today and was told that it was Radio Shack. Very scary considering the time and that there are several businesses still open at that time. Not sure why the public is not alerted as to the business that was robbed. Given the foot traffic, someone had to see something.

Hi chase693, Official reports from FPD rarely disclose the specific address or business at which an incident took place, which is why it's not specified in the post above. Thanks for reading! Anna

I am very upset to see this and that fact that I am seeing armed robberies more and more in the Frankfort area. Radio Shack is right next to Jewel, a restaurant, a dance studio, and other shops. At 7:30 at night many people (and families) are still out and running errands - this is really disturbing.

I have lived out here since 1977 when there wasn't much out here. New people moved in knowing what was here and demanded more retail. Years ago, the only crime was the Clark Gas Station (Now Mobile) @ 195th & LaGrange, getting robbed @ least twice a year. That is because they could hop on 80.More business brings more crime. I am not racist, but lets look at the police blotter. The people that are caught commiting these crimes are from Chicago or low income suburbs. Check out the names and that will tell all.Look @ the crimes comitted @ Orland Mall. Why are they coming here? Certainly, they have Radio Shacks and Circle K's in their neighborhood.
