2011 Police Annual Report: Breaking Down the Calls
Patch looks at the Frankfort Police Department's annual report, starting with the calls the department received last year.
The recently released its 2011 annual report, and in the following days, we'll take a look at the numbers and break down the statistics in the various categories.
Today, we take a look at the number of incident calls the department received in 2011 through its computer-aided dispatch. These statistics only include calls that resulted in an officer response, which range from lockouts to criminal calls, according to the report.
Chief John Burica noted that, in some cases, the overall numbers don't add up because of the way the records management system counts certain incidents. But the statistics are still representative of the department's responses, he added.
