2 Killed in Motorcycle vs. Truck Crash on I-80 at LaGrange Rd. (Update)

Illinois State Police are investigating an early morning fatality on I-80 just west of LaGrange Road.

UPDATE: 9:55 a.m. Monday

The two who were killed when their motorcycle crashed in the rear of a semi-dump truck were pronounced dead at the scene at 2:45 a.m. by the Will County Coroner's Office.

The two have been identified as 32-year-old Todd Zarebski-Tracy of Elgin, who was the driver of the motorcycle, and 23-year-old Eve Kolgovaite of Buffalo Grove.

Illinois State Police Sgt. Scott Angus said the crash erupted into a fire that closed the westbound lanes of traffic till about 5:30 a.m.

Two motorcycle riders were killed in an early morning crash in the westbound lane of Interstate 80 about one mile west of LaGrange Road.

Illinois State Police said at 2 a.m. today a motorcycle crashed into the rear of dump truck. The driver of the motorcycle and his passenger were killed. The driver of the dump truck escaped injury.
