PURSE SNATCHING/THEFT

REGARDING PURSE/WALLET THEFT:
*I think about this when putting groceries, other purchases, etc., in the back of my station wagon - *AND THEN FORGET TO PASS ON THIS ADVICE - *WHEN I open the tailgate of my station wagon, *I IMMEDIATELY SET MY PURSE INSIDE! *I DO NOT LEAVE MY PURSE ON THE CHILD SEAT OF THE GROCERY CART! *THEN - I proceed to put my purchases in the back of my wagon. *I KNOW I look like what I am - an elderly woman! *Leaving one's purse on the child seat would be an easy target for a "snatch and grab". *BE ALERT!! *ALL TOO OFTEN I SEE WOMEN WITH THEIR PURSES IN THE CHILD SEAT OF THEIR SHOPPING CART - AND THEIR PURSE IS OPEN! **EASY TARGET LADIES!!! *AND - yes - I do place my purse on the child seat of the shopping cart - *HOWEVER - I ALSO use the child restraint belts and wrap and wind the belts around and through the straps of my purse and then through the handle of the cart. *I, then, keep my hands on those "restrained" purse straps wound around the cart handle! *CAUTIOUS IS - AS CAUTIOUS DOES!
