A PUZZLEMENT!

*I find it very interesting...and - with all due respect...to a current very serious situation...*A lot of comment, criticism, noise is being made about the severe concussions and after effects suffered by the professional football players. *AND, how something MUST be done to recognize the dangers involved in head butting, etc. *AND the NFL controversy for denying, ignoring the danger of concussions received and subsequently being sued for prolonged medical expenses of the retired players. *How players have memory loss, commit suicide, ad infinitum. *AND how some players even suffer from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). *Why is so much attention being paid to pain and suffering of the athletes? *Why, when so little attention is, nor has, been paid to the long term affects of PTSD suffered by our returned armed service veterans? *Our returned veterans have witnessed sights beyond the grasp of we civilians at home! *Our service men AND women have undergone experiences far beyond the comprehension of of we civilians! *OH WELL, VETS, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, - JUST SUCK IT UP - IT WILL GO AWAY! *Little is said about the suffering of our returning veterans - both men and women! *As well as medical and psychological treatment has often been difficult for veterans - both men and women - to obtain. *Doesn’t the comparison of the two situations appear off kilter, unbalanced? *The football players situation receives  continuous, ongoing attention! *Should not the returning veterans receive recognition and attention to the PTSD they suffer in return for having so well served the United States of America? *Just a question?
