Steve graduated from Fremd High School in Palatine, received a degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois and master’s degrees in Music Education and Education Administration.
Steve was the Music Department Chairman and Marching Warriors Band Director at , and played sax in the Northshore Concert Band.
